About Waterproof: Your horse may still get wet for the following reasons even if they are wearing the waterproof rugs (it referred to the fabric):

1. Water leaked through the seams or stitching

2. Horses was lying down and water soaked up through the lining of the blanket.

3. Water run down the neck of the horse and under the blanket.

4. The horse was not properly cooled off before putting on the blanket or was running around in the field, it was sweaty.

5. The sun could be out and the horse was still wearing the blankets, the horse start to sweat.

6. If the horse has been staying out for extended hours in pouring rain, Nothing could be kept dry in this case.

7. To do a waterproof treatment after washing the blankets is recommended. 

Blankets Fitting: Our Winter Blankets and Rain Sheets fit to the true measure. If your horse measures at 81", then you should order a 81" for rain sheets and winter blankets.
